MY KNOWING

We are all here to live every situation you can imagine, good or bad; right or wrong; positive or negative. Why? So we can learn from the experience as part of the adventure of life.  Murray Kibblewhite

STORY – YEAR 20 – Chinese Twins

Belinda is an identical twin born in China who followed her Chinese boyfriend to New Zealand. Six months later he dumped her.

On the rebound, and to keep up with her twin sister, she found a Kiwi boyfriend but he can’t be considered as her partner as he needs a five-year gap from his last partnership!

So to stay in New Zealand she is considering going back to University to start a Doctorate so she can gain a student visa. With the support of her Kiwi employer, she eventually gains a good position in a local bank carrying out work similar to what she did in Beijing.

However, Belinda is greatly influenced and challenged by her twin sister. Communicating regularly with her twin, who lives in Berlin with her German boyfriend, Belinda struggles to match her.

Learnings– If every decision made allows you to learn, then what has Belinda’s experience taught her – Independence (definitely as she has moved to a new country) and Dependence (definitely again, as she is still greatly influenced by her twin sister)!

All life’s experiences are opportunities to learn. The challenge is to decide, what are the real lessons to be learned?
