Now I Know

We are all here to live every situation you can imagine, good or bad; right or wrong; positive or negative. Why? So we can learn from the experience as part of the adventure of life.  Murray Kibblewhite

One day earlier this month was an amazing day for me. I awoke to a beautiful fine warm (25C) day here in Auckland, New Zealand.

After hanging out my washing, I drove several kilometers to where I act as a consultant helping with the preparation of Business Plans for small start-ups.

At 10.30am I met the first client, a solo mother wanting to set up a make-up and waxing business from her home. She had been ill recently and had a number of family issues to deal with, which to me appeared to stem from her feelings of unworthiness.

At 11.30 am the next client arrived. She was a very experienced and busy person using a “phantom (artificial) mare to collect seamen from horses for artificial insemination! I’m glad I’m not a stallion!

At 12.30 pm I met for the second time, the client I outlined in post 081. She is also a solo mother and she had brought her daughter of 12 years, who was tall enough to be taken as being several years older.

The preparation of her Business Plan was on track and it outlined how she was going to re-educate, re-train and restore minimum hygiene standards in schools, community groups and aged care centres. She had the passion of a Crusader.

Once the interview was finished I had a break before meeting the next client, so the three of us had lunch at a Sushi Bar. This is where she told me she was a Lay Preacher and some of the successes she had had through helping others accept Jesus the Christ into their lives.

I learnt the difference between Christianity and the Christian Religion and I also learnt we had very similar beliefs as regards Spirituality. Several times she said, ‘every experience a person has is a learning experience’. To me it was as if I was talking to myself in front of a mirror!

This was synchronicity at work!

We agreed to meet after I had finished with the last client for the day. Later, outside I met with her and she said she had been “told” to give me a blessing which she did while the three of us stood on the footpath beside a school playground!

For me it was an unreal but amazing experience! It was moving, powerful and transformational. Tears welled up in my eyes as she gripped my hands and spoke so forcibly and eloquently. She is a natural preacher and I felt enlightened.

Is this how God works?

So what was the learning?

I learnt to be open, aware and mindful of her and everything she said as I recognised this was synchronicity at work.

Maybe this the start of a Spiritual Relationship?

All life’s experiences are opportunities to learn. The challenge is to decide, what is the real lesson to be learnt?

How to use:-

1) Accept you need to change your Attitude and Actions on a daily basis.

2) Read, view, discuss and learn other ways. Set time aside daily to study.

3) Practice a new action until it becomes a better habit. Then tell your friends.
