MY KNOWING

We are all here to live every situationwecan imagine, good or bad; right or wrong; positive or negative. Why? So we can learn from the experience as part of the adventure of life.  Murray Kibblewhite

CASE STUDY – TESTS ON YOUR SPIRITUAL JOURNEY SUBJECT: BELIEFS

Let’s look at three aspects or tests we will face in this incarnation. They are Power, Money and Fame.

Also, let’s use the writings of Joshua David Stone in his book “The Psychology of the Soul” to be our guide.

POWER – He says on page 264  – “The lesson to learn is how to own it without abusing it. Personal power is the fundamental first key to psychological health and spiritual growth. The ideal is to own it at all times in a considerate, unswerving manner. We either own our power or give it to other people and/or the subconscious mind or negative ego.

The real test of power comes when we move into leadership. Do we use our power in total service of the Christ consciousness and love, or do we allow the negative ego to use it to control others?

One way to test yourself is to see if you treat people exactly the same as you did before you got the power you now hold?”

MONEY– Page 265 he says: – “The key question is whether light workers will always put the true presence of God first and put these other lesser gods on the altar of sacrifice.

Manifesting Christ consciousness only as long as doing so remains profitable is not true spirituality.

How do we look at people who do not have any money? Do we judge them or love them as we would God? If we don’t, then the negative ego’s interpretation of money has a hold on us.

What does having a lot of money do to your personality? How does this dovetail with the issue of power? You will pass or fail on the spiritual path with such issues.”

FAME – He says on page 266–  The question here is what happens to or personality when we achieve fame and worldly recognition,

Does this change our personality?

Do we start treating others differently?

Does the fame just inflate our ego?

Does the fame create an opening for the negative ego?

Learning

Stone provides the Learnings when he says page 266  – “The key with all these tests  is to remain exactly the same as you were before power, money and fame were achieved.

These blessings by God should be used for his purposes.

Know that they are on loan, and if they are misused, they will be taken away.”

If we learn to view every situation as a learning experience then we can improve the way we work with the outcome.

All life’s experiences are opportunities to learn. The challenge is to decide, what is the real lesson to be learnt?

How to use:-

1) Accept you need to change your Attitude and Actions on a daily basis.

2) Read, view, discuss and learn other ways. Set time aside daily to study.

3) Practice a new action until it becomes a better habit. Then discuss with your friends.

CASE STUDY – HOW TO USE A SPIRITUAL APPROACH FOR BUSINESS SUBJECT: CAREER

In the “Tenth Insight – An Experiential Guide” by James Red-field and Carol Adrienne page 223 they say: –

“When business is approached from a spiritual view-point, people begin to consider the long-range implications of their choices. They start with the commitment to do what matters to what they would like to be served.”

I would like to add to this statement the following: –

“and treat every person and event as a learning experience.”

Further down on the same page they say: –

… living in the world with the purpose of “exploring what’s possible, finding new combinations – not struggling to survive, but playing, tinkering, to find what’s possible. When we change the way we view the problem, we change the nature of how we work with the situation.”

I agree with this and the final statement: –

“Tuning into our values and aligning with a positive force, we will be more energized and alert to the “opportunities” life sends us.”

This further confirms that we should enjoy life as a learning opportunity.

Learning

So what is the learning?

We are all here on our own journeys.

If we learn to view every situation as a learning experience then we can improve the way we work with the outcome.
